In relation to the upcoming team assignments, I am willing to contribute and consider all options on the best way to convey negative messages as well as analyzing them. Working as a team with equally distributed work, and open communication. These are also my goals and expectations from fellow team members, as I hope they will be able to pull their weight and contribute. I am hoping for the whole team to create not only quality work, but receive a hard-earned A!

I’m willing to work on different aspects of the assignment as needed, work on the assignment until everyone agrees we have the best assignment possible.

My goal for the assignments is to work together to turn in our best product possible to earn the highest grade possible.

What I am willing to do our team research project is anything I possibly can. I will do what is asked by my other teammates. Work as a TEAM. I want to be able to help out as much as I can and be able to succeed.

I only have one expectation for this assignment and that is to earn an A. My one and only goal for this assignment is also to earn an A. I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goal.

Question 1) The correct answer should have been C because in a direct reply message, you want to answer the original question as quickly as possible. A is incorrect because you are being slightly redundant regarding the details of the original message.

I thought the complaint and claim assignment was interesting.  It was a good exercise to see both sides of a situation and a good exercise to use different styles of writing. Looking back on it I could have added more details to both the complaint and claim sections to have it be more interesting.

#3 is my favorite number, this was Recall Practice #3 and this was the third attempt to get a Practice Recall right and not have to blog. So, what went wrong? I’m blogging again on how I messed up on two questions to make up my score.

Question 1 Which of the following is the most appropriate closing for an e-mail message or memo?

My choice was C or D as they were identical answers-Thank you in advance for answering my questions. Now that I reviewed the choices, answer A is the logical response. Please submit your report by August 1 so that information can be presented at the seminar on the fifteenth.

Question 2 Samantha must use e-mail frequently to communicate with others in her new job. What is the best advice to give her.

I chose B.  Use general tags such as Hi or important as the subject line to catch the reader’s attention. Answer A. Consider composing important messages offline is the correct answer but it seemed to me only partially applicable.

Despite reading the chapter, doing some of the exercises and reviewing for the recall, I again proved my point that I am not a confident test taker.

 

 

 

After having finished four of ten of these I will say that they are pretty challenging they are not all free 35 points.  I would say that the closest one that is a free 35 points was the Linkedin PWC.  You just have to get your profile to all-star for 35 points and share it with Lance.  Not to say that it was a free 35 points it was just the easiest of the 4 we got so far.  The toughest one I would say was the first because that seemed like the most analytical one.  The most bizarre one to me was the yelp review mainly because it had to be 500 words or more.  I feel that to make it 500 words easily you have to feel really strongly about something in a good or bad way.  In other words it was your best time or your worst time at a place.  The second PWC would have been a lot easier for me but I guess I am not as involved as I should be.
