Dear Boss,

We have noticed everyone here at Champs has been working diligently, and exceeding sales goals weekly. Due to the company and customer’s satisfaction, we are suggesting to reward the employees by offering happy hour once a month at Buffalo Wild Wings. With the company covering for the first two drinks and an appetizer. From there on, all employees will be responsible for their own tab.

Happy hour would benefit employees because it will keep their morale up, and show that company supports their hard work. Statistics also show that, a happy employee is more productive. Hence, being further beneficial for the company.

Situation: you are currently the best worker in your division. Everybody else is lazy, incompetent punks or a mixture of all three. You end up doing a fair amount of the rest if your division’s work. But your boss doesn’t know this. You ask for a 10% raise.

I would like to personally thank you for the top notch equipment that you have provided the fish department. You motivate me greatly and I believe that the quality and speed of our production is evident of your values and have raised the bars that you have set for our department.

While our department is performing well, the quality of the workers is not equal. I come in earlier than the rest of the department as well as leave later to compensate for the department’s less qualified workers. Some of the workers are habitually late or fail to perform at the expectations that you set for us. I do my best to take over the work that is deemed too hard or that they do not fulfill to expectations to ensure that our department’s quality and standards are upheld.

I believe it would be in the best interest of the department if I was appointed a higher position along with a raise of ten percent to compensate for the increased responsibility. I will continue to follow the values and expectations that you have appointed for my current position, along with the additional responsibilities that we can negotiate.

As you know I have been committing much of my free time to coaching little league baseball. Baseball is a big part of my life and a big part of this community. It has a positive impact on many young children in our area. We have the little league world series coming up next month and I think that it would be great for our company to take advantage of this event and provide a sponsorship for our team. It would be seen world wide and have a great impact on our store. As well as providing these young players with a chance to compete on the world stage.

I’m sure you are aware that we currently do not have a microwave in the back break room. This unfortunately causes us to leave and get food from somewhere else, or forces us to eat cold food. There is plenty of room for the microwave in the break room and an open outlet. Providing us with an onsite microwave would keep staff on ths premises during lunch hours, cutting down on potential liability issuses, and reducing excess payable hours spent trveling. Currently at Lowe’s, home depot, and Wal-Mart, microwaves are on sale for $59.99.

We would appreciate if you would issue a check or money order for the $62.81 tax included for an onsite microwave.

Hello class,

I guess we will start this off with a personal reflection on the class. I like how the class is coming together, people are opening up and sharing and communicating well with others, which makes for a more enjoyable experience. I enjoy the task set for us each day, teaching us little by little how to become better writers. With each of those tasks we experienced multiple different group members and strengths and weaknesses. Even though sometimes I or some of the class don’t agree with the material or how it should be presented, as Brandon Najarian pointed out in his Bad News Message on his blog. Despite point of view differences everyone in the class is dedicated to learning the material at hand and eager to help other succeed in the class. Team work makes the Dream work

I believe the work that the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association does is very important and I’m sure it is an invaluable resource in neglected and abused children’s lives. After everything you’ve told me about the organization and the great work it does, I agree that it should most definitely be continued.

 

I’ve always had a soft spot for helping children succeed in life, especially those who haven’t been dealt a fair hand; It seems that CASA shares the same sentiment. This being said, I’m sure you’ve noticed my firm has been experiencing a heavy loss of clients and a few cutbacks have been necessary. Due to this, I am unfortunately unable to pledge the asked amount of $1,000 to CASA. Even though I can’t provide a monetary donation to this great organization, I’d still be happy to support it and spread the word in any other way.

 

I would love to see CASA continued in this town and look forward to seeing what the children helped by CASA go on to achieve in life. You are doing a vital part in changing disadvantaged children’s lives for the better.
