This bill isn’t neccessarily in jeapordy of being removed, but it it still a concern for many users due to some of the rules surrounding it. When Wanda brought up this topic as an option, I was all for it considering I served in the Air Force for eight years and is currently using the bill. I currently have no problems with the current bill because it covers my tuition, books, and cost of living. If you’re having problems paying for school, maybe you should consider this option?

Correct Answer:

Front loading works best with audiences who are likely to be receptive to what you have to say (or who are unlikely to view what you have to say as bad news).

Reason:

Front loading saves the reader’s time, establishes the proper frame of mind, and prevents frustration. What’s important is getting to the main idea quickly. (pg. 62 in textbook: Essentials of Business Communication)

Doubt -_-

Never DOUBT yourself! For the in-class recall practice 2, I missed the first question about bias free writing. Never DOUBT yourself! For the in-class recall practice 2, I missed the first question about bias free writing. It was a true or false question that I spent the most time thinking about even though I came back to it and changed my original answer. After it was over, I noticed that I got it wrong and instantly started talking down to myself. I should have listened to what others have been saying to me for years and that is to trust my gut feeling! On the next recall, I will be trusting myself more and sticking to my gut feeling.

Scenario 1

This type of team work was result oriented, this is one of my favorite types of team work as long as the project was finished on time with a good grade. Yes there was lots of fighting and the team ended up disbanding but for you and the ones who stayed then it was still a good thing as we all ended up with good grades. In my opinion someone who was truly smart could recognize the others intelligence and be able to see that regardless of which way they did it they would have gotten an excellent grade. The other two who decided to do nothing should simply be reported the teacher and let the teacher decide what is fair.

Scenario 2

In this scenario I felt like there wasn’t enough work getting done and too much playing going on. Another thing was there wasn’t any conflict thus when poor ideas were presented they were agreed upon by the group. This also means that the group is lacking in mental capacity AKA they are stupid I say this because they were unable to recognize poor ideas or poor craftsmanship on the project. I would like to note that it doesn’t say that anyone held their tongue about the ideas or how to go about these things so they were just unable to recognize errors. It did not help that they rushed everything and didn’t talk over all the possibilities.

Scenario 3

Why would they pick something they were not good and not just one person their whole group decided that they wanted to do something they had difficulty with. Their failure was based off of this one decision, I’m almost certain they would have been able to completely the project with satisfactory results had they chosen different aspects to work on. It is very hard to learn something you are not good at especially with a limited amount of time and a grade hanging in the balance. I honestly don’t think they experienced any success at all due to their poor choices at the beginning.

Dang, about a quarter of this semester already went by.  This week the most important assignments this week were the research exercise parts one and two, and the recall practice.

This week we got one of the assignments that were worth more than the usual 5 point assignment or so, in fact it was worth a whooping 30 points.  For this assignment seeing that it was worth a lot I decided to get a substantial head start on it.  I had it finished on Sunday.  Come Monday after spending most of the time Lance gave us for it in class we got the first part finished.  Then I finished up the reflection or the part 2 that night.  Overall, it was not too difficult and with this experience it’ll make the next one even easier if there is another one that is similar to this.

Recall practice 2 was on Wednesday and I was not aware of this so I thought I was not going to do well but I did pretty well.  I got a 6/7 but I could have gotten a 7/7 but I changed the answer to the first question at the last second when it was right FeelsBadMan.  I usually do not read the chapters because I don’t like reading, I am lazy and what he covers in class is fairly good but I am alright with what I got.

Sorry this is so long but this is the last paragraph 🙂  So on Wednesday Lance gave us our 2 big assignments worth 35 points each I believe.  This weekend I’ll try do it up and make it well enough to get an A maybe and it does seem like the most difficult assignment Lance gave us this semester.  Hopefully I do not have to make a separate post for the recall practice because they’d be too much work.  I’ll see you guys on Monday.

Irony.

Ah, the irony! On Wednesday, when we had our recall practice test I got one question wrong. The ONE question that just so happens… I WROTE MYSELF. I can’t remember the question verbatim, as you could probably tell I must have horrible memory. However, I know the answer was “front loading.” How could I make… Continue reading Irony.

I can’t remember the question verbatim, as you could probably tell I must have horrible memory. However, I know the answer was “front loading.” How could I make such a rookie mistake you ask? I really don’t know myself. Maybe I was thinking too hard, I tend to do that a lot. Anyhow, I just wanted to share this thought with you all. Have a great weekend!

Group Work

It’s pretty interesting working in groups.  You can get tips and advice in some areas you could use help in.  It’s like we are in mini business meetings.  You never know what you can get out of group work, but I can tell you it will change your life and the way you communicate with… Continue reading Group Work
