For a TEAM to be successful, there are goals to be met. The following are necessary for a group of students to become a TEAM. First, there must be TRUST. Everyone needs to COMMIT equally to the project, bring their strengths and be available for meetings.  There needs to be a facilitator who will organize a game plan, a manager to keep everyone on time and task(s) and oversee the project to completion. All team members must follow through with their part to the end. I intend to do all that is listed because I am a real TEAM player.

Working with my teammates I am confident that we will get an A on this assignment. By doing this we must each be able to communicate with each other in and outside of class. Being able to organize and meet around each others schedules. Splitting sections of the project of who does what. Learning from each others strengths and weaknesses. To help one another succeed and achieve on this project. I expect everyone to do their fair share on this assignment. I hope that if there are some conflicts that we are able to come to civil matters but I don’t think we will have that problem.

I have plenty of free time and am willing to work with my group during my free time to put the best product together. I would prefer to meet in person but am willing to communicate however my team prefers in order to get the group assignment finished. Ultimately I want to to receive a great grade so making whatever sacrifices it takes in order to be successful in this assignment, I will. I am able to lead the group or be a team member that contributes my fare share to the group and it will all depend on what my group members prefer when the time comes.

What are your expectations (product and process) for working on this team assignment?  What are your goals (learning, teamwork and outcome)?

 

 

For team assignments, I am really willing to do whatever is needed to facilitate our task. Ideally, I would prefer to discuss our strengths and weaknesses as well as our schedule (both in and out of school) to come up with a plan that enables all the team members to participate equally. If another team member prefers to take a task that I feel more experienced with, I would be glad to provide input from what I’ve learned previously if it helps the other person.

My expectations when working in group assignments are the following:

1. Learn the subject of the assignment
2. Receive a good grade upon completion
3. Work is spread evenly between the members of the group
4. Have/facilitate an environment conducive to learning
5. Not have any last minute changes that places unneeded stress on other members

The goals I wish to achieve are essentially the same as my expectations when working in group assignments. Overall, I would like to achieve a good grade, learn the subject of the assignment, not feel that I worked more than others and to have a comfortable environment in which to work with my team.

I have not set any standards for the team yet, but I know that the team can count on me to do whatever needs to be done, whenever it needs to be done.  I am not really a strong motivated type, but I will do whatever it takes to get a good grade.  I have the time to invest in the team and the resources.  I look forward to the challenge ahead.  I like hearing other viewpoints and perspectives on things in general so I look forward to working with a team.

For the upcoming team assignments, I am willing communicate, and share the workload among my team members. If worse comes to worse, I am also willing to do the whole assignment by myself if my team members fail to commit and do any work.

As it is a team assignment, I expect each individual to put in the effort for their part of the assignment and if they have problems, I also expect them to seek help within the group.

My goals for this assignment is to learn basic leadership abilities and work together to get an A.
