+Incompetence

• I think the reasons for criticizing someone about incompetence goes without saying. If I find a coworker isn’t carrying their weight, I usually tell them directly instead of going straight to a manager.

-Hygiene

• If a coworker has poor hygiene it reflects badly on themselves; I would also choose a direct approach to letting a coworker know their hygiene could be better, since it can be an embarrassing.

-Poor punctuality

• I don’t think this one would be my place to criticize, a supervisor would likely take notice and action before I would.

-Unfriendly

• It’s hard to criticize someone directly just for being unsociable, I believe the best course of action would be to just avoid this person.

-Slow

• Sometimes it can be stressful to be told hurry up, so I would try to give my coworker some advice on how to be more efficient about doing their job.

We appreciate you taking interest in our institution of Windward Community College, we have been providing higher education to Oahu’s windward side since 1972 and plan to continue on for many more years to come. Dear Mr. Malanga,

It has been my pleasure to have been employed with 808 bounce for the past 5 years. During the majority of that time I have worked every weekend as required. I respectfully request the upcoming weekend off to attend my graduation. I will be receiving my associate’s degree from Windward Community College on May 12.

If any supporting documentation is required, I can provide a letter from the WCC Vice Chancellor, Amy Rozek. I look forward to receiving authorization for the requested time off by May 1.

1a) For these team assignments, I am happy to help out my team members with things they are having trouble with. I also feel more inclined to make sure my work is done earlier than usual since I have people depending on me.

2. What are your expectations (Product and process) for working on this team assignment? What are your goals (Learning, teamwork, and outcome)?

2a) My expectations for this assignment are foremost to do well and possibly even make some new friends. Throughout my short time at college, I’ve found that the people you meet and stay in contact with are just as valuable as the skills you learn. My main goal for this assignment would be to receive an A. (Contradictory, I know)
